You can tow an automatic with the rear wheels down if you leave the motor running with the transaxle in neutral. Probably not good for a long trip, but works fine on a shorter tow.

do it all the time. just make sure u dont tow a syncro or automatic w/ rear wheels on the ground unless youve removed the driveshafts..
