Go to syncro@yahoogroups.com and look in the files section of the base page. You will have to join to get there. There is a folder about this that contains a couple of posts from Larry Hamm telling how he put the Syncro drivetrain into a Westy. He did it the hard way with an 82. IIRC the 86 and up Vanagons already have many of the holes needed to bolt the Syncro stuff on. The folder or file has my name on it because I got these from the archives and posted them.
