Today I noticed one of the large positive terminals in my LH rear pillar had obviously been overheated. The mounting screw was slightly loose. So I replaced the terminal, cleaned everything up on both connectors, cleaned the grounds and tightened all the connections. These two terminals and the 50 amp fuse link still run really hot. Anyone checked these (with a/c running obviously)? Is this the norm or do I have another problem? How much current is flowing here normally? I ran the A/C for about 1/2 hour after repairing the wiring, with no problem other than hot supply wires. Here's a photo of my overheated terminal before replacement - http://bworks.net/vw/acwiring.htm
