Depends on year, somewhat. It goes from the D+ lead on the alternator to the main vehicle wiring bundle that leaves the engine compartment on the left front area and runs along the edge of the left main chassis rail, all the way to the dash area. There is only one blue wire in that bundle. In later models the wire first passes through the black plastic wiring junction box and may have a connector splice inside the box. All models should have a connector splice in the blue wire somewhere in the engine compartment.

The wire runs to the dash area and then up to the instrument cluster blue foil where it attaches to the logic for the alternator warning led. The blue wire must be connected to the blue foil in order for the stock alternator to charge correctly.
