Mark,

Get ready for an adventure ( nightmare ) of your life.

The rear AC evaporator drip pan has done the tilt forward routine, cracked, the foam rubber evaporator filter's (?) in the front or the back of it have plugged the drain hoses, or last but not the least the drain tubes ( or tube ) has fallen off the drip pan.

Now to cure this problem is simple in concept, but difficult in practise.

The rear wood housing has to come down off the headliner of the Van.

It should take two, but can be done by one.

Just take a look over the back seat and look at all the neat little plastic screw cover's. They all have to come off, and the screws removed.

Look into the closet, there is a couple more up on top. Look into the rear most linen closet. There are some more.

Be careful not to drop the unit when you get all the screws out, you'll snap the wires to the blower motor's.

Oops. I forgot.

Take a real good look as you drop the unit down. One hose is on the right and one is on the left. Watch real close to their position o the side of the drip tray. They are hell to get back right as your trying to get the unit back up and start the screws.

Watch how the wires are attached to the blower motor's too. You might have them jump off the connector's as your moving the assembly around.

Make sure the drip tray isn't pitched the wrong way when you put it back together either. It'll leak some more when your all done.

It's a good 3-4 hour process to get this all done right, clean out the drain tubes, clean out al the old dried up foam rubber that's in the coils, and in the drip pan, and then get it all back up there correct, and in one piece.

Good Luck,

RC
