After much adjusting, I turned my problem shifting--similar to yours--over to an experience shop. I wrote them a check for $70 and they gave me back the most perfect shifting vanagon you can imagine. I

do most everything myself, but there are times when experience, hydraulic racks and multiple mechanics win over homegrown determination.
