Subject: West Coast Events?

Hi Stacy

I would be interested in a group campout. Be great to connect with some Bay Area Westy folks. After spending 3 days traveling to the Sierra's in 100F + heat, I vote for camping on the coast! Sonoma coast is nice or Big Sur. I need to go down that way to pick up some parts for the Syncro at Volks Cafe in Santa Cruz and maybe visit GoWesty, too. So lets book a group site and circle the wagons!

Hi folks, I'm relatively new here and so far I have seen info on a few VW events, but nothing in California or even on the West Coast. Are there any events that happen on the West Coast sometime during the year? I was thinking about setting up something casual (i.e. just picking a campground and a weekend) if people were interested. Are there any West Coasters interested in something like this? I'm in the San Francisco Bay area and would paln something in the area. Cheers Stacy '83 Westy, Escorial Green San Jose, CA
