Larry,

You won't find any of these from the United States. VW didn't sell any 1988 model year Syncros in the USA. I think they forecast higher sales for '87 that didn't materalize so they were still selling off the "leftover" inventory of 1987s during 1988.

Not sure about '88s from Canada. I would expect most other countries did have 1988 Syncros.
