Just wanted to promote my new GPS. On my most recent adventure I tried to navigate with my handheld GPS unit and this was absolutely inadequate while driving. I ended up buying a Garmin USB GPS-18. It comes with up-to-date software and a small receiver that has a magnetic or suction base. I put it in the Westy this past weekend and travelled about 300 miles. It hooks to my laptop and I was totally amazed at what I got. Besides full screen mapping of my route it has audio prompts. If you change course the software recognizes it and modifies your route to your destination. All of this for about $100.00 (software alone goes for more than that on the Garmin site). I bought it at buydig.com. I have no connections to them and only wanted to share something that works great in the Westy. Larry
