HI Kevin,
I am dealing with the same thing. I just picked up a replacement I am
going to try, Maybe tomorrow. It was about $10 at Pep boys. I have seen
a similar one at AutoZone, but their lighted ring was red. The Pep Boys
one is Green, with a similar design and texture.

Hello All:

We're all familiar with the weird VW Cigarette Lighter
Sockets and how they are a little too big...does
anyone know of a replacement that holds 12v accessory
plugs tighter yet still allows use with the
illuminated ring that comes with the original socket?
