I'm reading this with interest as my  AC was just looked at and I'm told
all I need to do to make it work is recharge it...it's a 1985...seems a
bit too simple - are there complications?

I'm off for my annual drive from Seattle to Salt Lake - the new engine is
still fine after only 400 miles (from http://www.vintagemotorwerks.com/).
We had the 300 mile check-up with the break-in oil replaced.
