I wanted to add to the list of things to pack which don't seem to have been included on most lists:

Coleman stove - under the rear seat - for cooking outside (where most of our meals are cooked)

A non-stick square grill pan which I have found replaces the bulky BBQ. Works good for most meats, including bacon. Does a really good job on cooking and saves a lot of space taken up by the BBQ bulk (we normally use the smaller gas BBQ). Bought at Costco.

Smaller pillows for traveling (travel pillows from K Mart/Wal Mart). Take up about 1/2 the space of regular size pillows and seem to work the same. We've spent about 4 weeks in the van lately and are satisfied with these pillows.

I think it's interesting to note where people store different items - gives us all good ideas!
