It radiates the heat back out of the Van.

That's the purpose of thr tinting.
Block the suns rays, the heat is out.

Now I'm not gonna tell you the glass isn't going to be warm, but the
glass and the interior will be one heck of a bunch cooler with the tint
than without it.
