I have had really good luck by taking the carpets out as well as the rear cushion covers and spreading them on a blue tarp in the driveway. I use citrus cleaner and whatever types of detergents you like and use electric pressure washer. Drape the carpet over some sawhorses so it will drain and rinse. Most of the interior of the vanagon is a polyester type fabric like the curtains It does not really want to hold moisture. Careful drying it though for that reason its like a plastic in a way and can easily get damaged. Doug
