Ah, but it's annoying to exactly *half* the users... doing it the other way would annoy the *other half* I'm in the half that would be annoyed if it changed, because I prefer to only reply to the whole list if i *consciously choose to*. Most of my replies are p-mail, I try (and still sometimes fail) to limit list replies to BTDT Vanagon repair info, or directly list-replated stuff (like this). Considering the volume of mail that comes in through this list, could you imagine if *every* blind click of the Reply button went to the whole list?
