Best place to be able to lift the carpet is right where the stock wiring goes, Along the inboard side of the drivers feet area. That's where the cable from the Parking Brake goes (for the light on the dash). It's a convienent place to run wires for stereo equipment too as you can run the wires into the box under the drivers seat through the hole where the seatbelt wires go.

You, of course, also need to be able to lift the carpet on the LEFT side of the drivers feet area as that's the fill up area for the windshield wiper fluid tank. On Jul 22, 2005, at 8:14 PM, dusty edwards wrote:
