<< Went back up front and Slapped the right side of the shifter console twice. focusing on follow through. I asked my daughter to start the car, and it did! The look on her face was great! So, can the Park/Neutral disable switch be cleaned and lubed, or should it be replaced? >>

With the appropriate allen wrench remove the T handle on the shifter.

Pull the rug back from around the base of the console.

Pull the console off the shift handle.

Look on the R/H side of the shift lever mounting bracket, up on the top.

You'll see the 10ga. red wire that runs to a button switch.

It's the neutral safety switch.

It can be adjusted, or replaced, whatever suits your fancy.

Problem solved.
