Folks,

Many have been to this point. I don't need the van anymore. I can no longer justify the insurance it takes to keep this beast on the road. I have a standing offer from the State of California's Bay Area Air Resource Board for $650.00 for the van. I feel obligated to offer it to the list for this price as maybe someone with a rusted out midwest van would like this California based van for it's body. I love driving it but it is now time to part ways.

Here's the scoop: It has a strong running 1.9 in it It will cruise all day at 72 MPH on the freeway. The Speedo reads 10% high. Needs a good cleaning. Yellow/tan over dark brown. I know it leaks a small amount of water . Internal or a hose, I don't know. It has one spot of rust next to the drivers side middle window. That's it. Gas tank needs tubing done. Radio doesn't work, needs antenna. Brakes haven't been done in 6 years. They still stop the bus just fine. Tires, Michilins up front, rather small for my taste but work just fine. Michilin MXLs on the back. Still have plenty of rubber. Transmission works just fine. Doesn't burn oil. No thermostat ever installed. Still passes SMOG but will need a cat soon.

Comes with: Folding side Table, Back side cabinet (tan) with side facing large door (as opposed to front facing door), overhead cabinet (tan), comfortable brown chairs up front, that crappy tan cordoroy seats in the back.

No dents in the body, bumpers are fair, no end caps. Glass is all intact. Mirrors, well, they are Vanagon mirrors, enough said.

Deal must be done by August 1st.
