Vw actually started the testing program over two years ago. It takes that long to get long term history on the engines under different configurations and uses. They posted an update about a year ago for the EU fuels people as well as mercedes posting updates. The tests also included B20 but I find it interesting that they did not post approval on the B20 for the US. I wonder if it ran into some kind of EPA paper problem or a technical problem. There unfortunately/fortunately a big difference between individuals using the fuel and corporations saying it is usable. jimt
