Thanks to all on my question regarding synthetic vs. dino oil. Great info and my weekender is probably going to last longer with 20W50 here in N. Alabama. New question: recharged original ac system with Freeze 12- stuff that can be used in place of R12. Good cool ac almost at once, but when starting from stoplight I have to turn it off or I come up to speed at a crawl or near stalling if I lean on the gas. Once I reach steady speed I turn it back on and everything runs fine. Is this nature of the beast? Engine has 98K, runs great otherwise. Thanks, this is a great web site.
