Hi Volks- Had to chime in ... because I knew John Wallace. The last time I saw him, however was on a campout at Yosemite NP. It was a most unfortunate weekend. While he was cooking bacon and eggs in his Westy, a curious and hungry bear ripped through his pop top and ate him, and his little dog, too. May he, and this thread, rest in peace. -Diana On da road ... 1984 Westy (for sale on eBay!) and proud new owner of a 1997 Eurovan Camper, yet to be named. Suggestions welcome.
