A week of Fridays.  OK.  I was sitting here reading the digest form of the
list, chuckling at the clever ideas for John Wallace Day:  songs, poetry,
calendars, etc., when I clicked on the link to the new John Wallace badge.
 Hot coffee spewed from my mouth involuntarily as I gasped with laughter.
 Now folks, this could be serious.  Had I not been wearing my heavy-duty,
all-purpose canvas work pants, I might have been badly burned.

I propose a set of what we unfortunates who work for the govt. call "IWDs"
or "Integrated Work Documents", which lay out all the possible things that
could go wrong, and the steps needed to prevent and/or deal with such
happenings.  We could call them "Integrated Wallace Documents" and we
could think up every conceivable mishap that could occur as a result of
getting "John Wallaced".  I am willing to work on any committee set up to
identify and deal with such possible negative consequences.
