...should i do while the carpet is up and before the new, custom carpet
kit is glued down?

sewfine is doing the job for me and it's necessary that they glue the
custom kit to the van.  there is wiring running from my aux. battery to
the dash, under the carpet.  sewfine is going to give me the option of
not glueing a specific area of the carpet down so that the wiring is
easily accessed.  any ideas where would be the best place?  does
anybody have experience with this?

btw - i'm going to keep the original ('90 westy) gray carpet color, but
have them do a charcoal (color) binding - a contrasting binding opposed
to the same color.  what do you think?  looking at some of their work
online, it seems like a good idea.  any other ideas?
