Subject: The Syncro Sputter
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Hi all,

Yesterday my daughter and I drove the Syncro over to Trader Joe's to stock up. She was running just fine on the 10 minute trip on a nice warm day (about 80°F, I would guess). On the way back, about a minute

after we left the parking lot, the engine started to sputter and had very little power. Sort of like a vacuum hose was unplugged. I could barley get it to do 40MPH on the freeway and the engine died and few times at stop lights. Right after I limped off the freeway, the problem

was gone and it was smooth sailing all the way home. So I popped the lid to take a look and could find nothing wrong. No hoses disconnected,

distributor contacts were a little crusty, but not bad and I am a bit stumped. Anybody have that happen and know of a solution?
