Subject: Help me understand the frig
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

I've been reading all the frig posts and have been trying to put it all together. I'm missing something. I have an aux battery, frig was updated, and 2 12v plugs coming off the aux. the interior light and radio were rewired to the aux. Work was completed by Go Westy. Here is my take:

1. Plug the frig into 110 the night before (cool down - prepare for departure)

2. Next morning - set frig on propane and light (this is a test only)

3. Depart on trip - frig is on 12v - aux battery is charging

4. Break/stop - frig is still on 12v - powered by the aux batt when the engine is off - aux should power frig for 2-3 hours.

5. Back on the road - frig on 12v and aux battery is charging

6. Parked for the night - frig is switched over to propane (which has 40 degree diff)

7. Aux batt will power interior light, water pump, radio, 2 12v outlets

8 Departure - propane is turned off, frig is switched back to 12v, aug battery will charge
