Hmmm ... I know just enough physics to make me wonder (and not enough to make me know the anwer) whether it makes a difference that you're checking out the solar effects by putting your hand "on" the vehicle as compared to putting your hand "inside" the vehicle.
Anyone here a physics (or thermodynamics) afficianado who could comment?
