I live in Port Townsend where we have a great wrecking yard with a couple of Vanagons but they didn't have the window lifter - so recommended me to: I got a window lifter, four vw hubcaps, some door handles, etc for about $70.00. They are about to send a van to the crusher - seems like someone might want a body even if it is very stripped? They have four there now. One complete pop top was just sold. The dashboards are in various stages of removal. I know there is one of those jump seats. So now...I have a new engine from http://www.vintagemotorwerks.com/ , a drivers side window that goes up and down, hubcaps, air conditioning that seems cool (but comes out from under the seat instead of above?), new brakes, water pump, oil pump, alternator. The transmission is leaking a bit of oil though. We are driving to Salt Lake via Idaho, taking kayaks and are out to "park and play" in some waves. Andree
