I think he's lying,Get the "ROPE". -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of John Wallace Sent: Monday, August 01, 2005 8:46 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: THE "REAL"JOHN WALLACE STORY
Dear List Members, I am the mysterious list member that has been causing you all alot of hassles. Here's the story: My regular e-mail was giving me a hassle back in June, so I subscribed to the vanagon.com list using a new e-mail address. Well I finally got my regular e-mail working so I sent an unsubscribe request and never thought another thing about it. When I checked the e-mail a week and a half ago, it appeared that the request had not taken. So I submitted the unsubscribe AGAIN. Now it appears that didn't take so I just did it again!!!! Believe me, I find the list VERY helpful and that you all have a great sense of humor...in no way would I want to cause anyone a hassle! In fact a list member got my phone number and called me (many thanks) this week and told me that the problem was still going on and that I was the object of many e-mail discussions...I read many of them tonight and have to say I found them quite hilarious to say the least. I run a summer business and don't have much time or access to e-mail until I get a day off and come home. I hope I have UNSUBSCRIBED correctly this time and that the list gets it. I don't know what else to do or who to contact to make sure it is taken care of????? Please accept my most humble apology to you all, The Infamous John Wallace 88 Vanagon Wolfsburg |
