Yes, Standard UPS rates do not include the brokerage fees, which are billed to the recipient and can be quite steep (and are not quoted in advance). However, US Mail rates (as well as those for all UPS shipping methods other than their cheapest one) already include those fees. That's why we try to ship via Mail to Canada whenever at all possible.
