my plan is to go to the junkyard and get a pair of rear shoulder belts to install in my '87 syncro gl 7-pass. apparently, there is a factory threaded hole in the wall of my van ready to accept the belt wheel. i pulled off the plastic piece in the back that runs from the floor to the ac housing, but i don't see a hole. i can feel one through the vinyl, i think, but i'm hesitant to tear the vinyl unessecarily. am i doing the right thing? goesty has a picture of the installed belt, so i'm fairly sure i'm poking in the right place. has anyone done this operation? thanks y'all! aaron '87 syncro gl |
