John,
Glad to meet you in person as up til now I only
knew the legend. Apologies are accepted.
Yes, you did become famous beating the average
of 15 minutes by over two weeks.
At this point you could launch a new career based
on your new fame.
Now everyone wants to meet you , have you
autograph the mug, the t-shirt, and to hear your
speech at the opening of WALLACEWORLD, situated
in South Dakota in the town of Wall.
They were going to call it Wall-Aceworld but the
well know hardware chain objected.
And then, when we just learned that you were
real, the legend fizzled.
That would have been something to look forward to
, driving across SD, to see signs that read "
Visit Wallaceworld -home of the largest Vanagon
collection."
This could have been to Vanagonia what Sturgis is
to Harley.
Better than drugs. Better start collecting.
But now we have to accept that you are just like
the rest of us, average, daily, and tired of out
of office replies in the e-mail box.
Don't let it happen again!
