I have made mention a few times on the list that I had my van repainted. When doing this I replaced the metal panel between the upper grille and the bumper. This is a single panel and has a cutout for the lower grille. My panel was the only truly rusted part of my whole van, and was particularily bad where the seam joined the bumper. Anyway, when the shop welded the pannel back in place they spot welded it before painting. Right now it looks great, but I can't help thinking the water is just going to get under there again. Should this seam be welded all the way across? Chris |
