Last long shot. Defective distributor pick up or ignition module causing
multiple injector firings. BTDT! Injectors should only trigger once each
complete engine revolution.

Both wire where replace, ground, and main to computer..... every other wire
were tripple check to each and every single element... with a ohm meter... i
tell you brother... i have checked everything..... am missing something... 3
other posibilities... AFM, distributors or ECU, but i have a ECU... it may
be faulty... am not sure...

The temp 2 sensor has one wire to the sensor, the other goes to ground. A
wire may be broken in the harness. Try connecting another ground to it.

Injectors are working fine, tested... and spaying fine.... but thanks,
i will double check just in case....
Grounds were check and cleaned... like everything else.... like i said,
the only false readind was the temp2, but this one was replace... and
it's still giving me a bad reading.... wire to the ECU was replace,
reading good... but still no start...

A shorted harness may be keeping the injectors open. The black smoke
indicates a temp 2 problem. Could be missing a ground somewhere.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr...... me again...good, am gonna burn that 84... he he he...
Recapitulation:
84, rebuilt head job...
Problem: no start when cold, and now, no start when hot!!!!
Black smoke with heavy hesitation, kind a feel a it's flooded!
injecting brake cleaner in intake to start the van as a boost is the only
way to start that van... when hot, everything is ok except for a lack of
power after déceleration... and hitting back the gas pedal...
Fuel pressure as a slow leak, but a very slow one... every vaccum is
plugued, ECU as been replace, as for temp 2 and other stuff... i don't have
a spare 1.9 dijiget AFM, so i cannot do that test, but, by bentley, that
AFM
looks ok..
Everything as been replace... injectors tested, fuel reg as been replace
with no change... am replacing the fuel pump tomorrow.... and the filter...
but still... the aux. air reg. valve is open so i should have a "cold
start"...
I feel that i have a fuel pressure ploblem... but am not sure... fuel
pressure is ok....
Compression: ok
