Seem a bit unpractical considering the floor space it would need. Why not use a unit that fits through one of the windows.

Anyone out there ever try a portable air conditioner in their Vanagon?

I'm looking at the MobileAir MA-9000AH:

Seems like a pretty cool unit (no pun intended). I like the fact that it is also a 1100 watt ceramic heater and a dehumidifier. A little large at 15" x 18" x 33" high, but for long-term camping where there's shore power available, it may be worth it.

Could keep me nice and cool at Burning Man...

Cheers,

Jeff
