I just got a similar pair from Bus Depot a few weeks back. The ones I have fit into the window channels, tightly without any adhesive and can be easily removed again. The best thing they do is allow you to leave windows slightly open in the rain, and the sun visor effect is also good. I really can't say the noise is that much less while driving even when the windows are just cracked, but it does seem to help with the wind-tunnel hair scramble action, I do note less knots in my ponytail. :)

I still think they were worth it.
