When I did mine I had a helper hold it in place and started at one end and marked the locations and installed the snaps. However if I were to do it again I would get several strong magnets and use them to hold the screen in place and and go from there.
Good luck with the install, I'm sure it will turn out just fine.

Anyone know where the male snaps should be mounted on the van to clip the
