However  if I were to do it again I would get several strong magnets and use
them to  hold the screen in place and and go from there.

The screens I bought for the front windows
have a bunch of little 3/8" magnets around the  perimeter,
and they work great.
They are very strong.
In fact, since using them,
my rheumatism has gotten a lot better ! :o)
