i'm about to replace the door speakers and the stereo.  my old parts
must've gotten fried in the electrical short over a month ago.  i'd
prefer to replace them w/ blaupunkt equipment, but i'm open to whatever
has worked the best for other people.

for a stereo - i'd like to have one that offers a direct connection to
my iPod and can control the iPod from the head unit.  does anybody have
any ideas or experience w/ this???  and how difficult is it to find a
stereo that wil fit into the vanagon dash?

for door speakers - when searching crutchfield.com, only one set of
blaupunkts show up.  do these ACTUALLY fit?  are there better options
