Hmmmm, having come to the vanagon era only 3 years ago after driving split windows for years all over the west to many shows, etc, I thought all split drivers waved to all other buses/vans, but most vanagon/euros didn't wave or even get it! Then again split drivers think that bay windows are "fat chick buses" & eurovans are simply not acceptable, but vanagons are sort of ok. My split friends will even let moi park w/ them in the splittie camping area!

Then again, there are divisions even in the splittie crowd-barndoors/pressed bumpers/bullet turn signal buses are definitely cooler than later buses, & 67's (12 v.) are at the bottom of the totem pole?

I believe that each sub culture is all a matter of perception, there is no right or wrong.

Tom-never driven a bay window bus
