Sorry to hear about this. It shouldn't be too difficult to fit an
inclined piece of sheetmetal or plastic inside eacg cab door so that
any such wire job slides past the lock rod. It wouldn't need to be
very strong; could be screwed or even glued in with care. Of course
then you'd better make sure you carry a spare key at all times...
