Subject: windshield wipers
Content-Type: text/plain

Now that the "monsoon season" has arrived (somewhat late)in northern New Mexico, I am using my windshield wipers more. The splines are worn off where the wiper attaches and so a few weeks ago I used some gasket sealant and seated the wipers where I wanted them to be. Worked fine for a little while, then yesterday I was driving home in a sudden downpour and they got all out of sync again and started hitting each other and I had to stop in the rain and relocate them. Anyone have a real fix for this? I know this is probably in the archives, but I only get 30-minute spells at the computer during summers.

Off to Chaco Canyon again tomorrow, and if it rains, the windshield wipers will be the least of my worries! Once took me 5-1/2 hours to get out of there in the mud/clay.
