Okay, I do this quite a bit and international shipping is a bit of a PITA. In order to ship cheaply, you have to use the US Post. This means you have to take the time to fill out the customs forms, visit the Post Office, and stand in line.

How much extra do you charge for shipping to cover your time??

Big stuff is even more difficult, but there are ways...

Personally, I like selling to Europe. I maintain a bank account in Germany which helps greatly with buying and selling in Europe.

Cheers,

So I am on eBay again checking out what available to feed my Vanagon addiction. Lots of stuff, but all the US seller only want to sell to the US. Could someone tell me why? The obvious answer is that it may be a PITA to send an international shipment, but I'm willing to pay the extra cost, and the seller will get my higher bid to offset the extra effort.

Come on US sellers. How about being nice to us international folks that want (no need) your stuff.
