George, I wouldn't be worried about it falling off as much as the way it will affect the handling in any emergency maneuver. Imagine a wet road and having to hit the brakes while in a turn. It would look like the movies when the rear suddenly becomes the front. I almost did the jack knife thing towing a Rabbit. And that was on dry pavement. I do think your first response was a bit impolite though.

That is exactly what I thought about Coupe's most recent submission; I guess I should have allowed my instinct to prevail and ignored him. Still, although the message has faded into the rhetoric, I am adamant about one thing: carrying a 400 (350 in Bizarrospeak) pound scooter on a hitch carrier cantilevered 2 feet beyond the end of the receiver is a risky and foolish thing to do. My final words on this subject are these: to anyone planning to copy this thing - DON'T!
