I have bought quite a few Macintosh parts from US members of a swap list. Most are happy to send overseas; only a few won't. Most perfer PayPal, but for cheap items cash is safe enough usually, or bankdrafts (money orders) drawn on a US bank. I have used both.

Many countries' banks have huge charges however to process drafts eg South Africa, Germany, and people there either won't accept them or they will insist that YOU pay the charges.

Drafts are not accepted in the Philippines...

Not cold in the far SW (Victoria).

Hmmm... sounds kinda familiar.

Oh yeah, DON'T buy if shipping overseas is UPS only! I got burned once, never again. DHL, FedEx, USPS are fine.

Western Union? Ha! To do this from NZ WU charges a $90.00 fee!!
