How big are we talking here?

A motorcycle trailer is too small? I assume that means those Escargo cartop carriers are too?

These Sears trailers are no more either but is this sort of what you have in mind?

...there are probably a fair number of these around and there is a pick at the bottom of the page of one in use on a VW bus!
