Thanks for the replies. I'll try one of the tools. I also installed a circulating fan in the fridge. This is definitely the answer to the lame fridge. I just checked the thermometer 43 degrees on ac power. The van is all closed up and the air temp is 90 degrees. What a difference that little fan makes. Now i just hope this transmission deal works out so i can actually take this thing for a ride. Summers almost over and i haven't been in it yet.
