Subject: Turn signal problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed

In my old diesel westy (Wallace) I am having a problem that is strange to me, but may be common to others.

When I turned on my right TS, only the rear worked. A quick look at the front showed rot and corrosion among the terminals that made it look like an iron civil war artifact. I have dremeled down to steel until another one arrives.

But the left TS is more problematical. When I put on the left TS, I get no voltage reading at the front, correct at the rear (but no light, some terminal cleaning is in order back there) but the the dash area I can hear a sound just like the seat belt warning buzzer and in fact may be the seat belt warning buzzer.

Is it simply time for a new TS switch assembly?

Thanks,

Jim
