They work from my experience, removing wind noise and keeping wind from
blasting right into your head.
But, also from my experience, they also can just fall out of the door frame,
onto the road, and not even be noticed that they are missing.  That's why I
have only one now (driver's side, thankfully).  I bungee the remaining one
up to keep from losing it.
