Howdy All, Chris, I think I've seen this Vanagon before. I could be wrong, but I think that this is the G60 Vanagon I examined. IF, and I repeat IF, this is the same Vanagon I saw I'd stay away. Big problems with the how the supercharge is mounted. On a G60 Corrado the oil supply line to the supercharger is connected to the top of the supercharger. It was done this way because the engine had to be tilted to the side to fit in the engine bay. This causes some problems because the oil needs to be suppled to the top of the supercharger for proper lubrication. In addition, the oil drain was no longer at the bottom. It was a considerable amount higher and to one side. This means that the oil won't drain from the supercharger properly. IF this is the same Vanagon I saw, the owner at that time said that they had already been through a couple of superchargers (a rare commodity). Finally, the powerband of the G60 engine isn't well suited for the weight of a Vanagon, especially a Westy. Like I said, this could be a different Vanagon. Potential bidders should inquire as to the orientation of the oiling components of the supercharger. My 2¢.
