Subject: window tinting and rear defroster
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi All, has anyone had experience in trying to replace the window tinting on their vanagon? I have a '87 Westy with horrible tinting. I contacted a tinting repair place and they refuse to remove the tinting from the back windows as it may damage the rear defroster. Has anyone successfully removed the tint from the rear? If the rear defroster gets ruined in ther process (heaven forbid) where can I purchase a replacement rear defroster? Thanks in advance, Jen and newly repaired Karma '87 Westy (thanks Boston Bob)
